Hope

A man was stuck at the bottom of a hole. He looked up and saw a priest walking by. “Hey Father, can you help me? I am stuck in this hole” he said to the priest. The priest said a prayer and continued walking.

 
Later he saw a doctor walking and yelled up “Hey doc, I am stuck in this hole, can you help me”. The doctor took out his pad and wrote a prescription and dropped it down the hole to the man.
Some time after that he saw an old friend and yelled up to him “hey buddy, I am stuck in this hole can you help me?”

 
His buddy then jumped down in hole with the man. The man looked at his friend as said “Great..now we are both stuck down in this hole”.

 
His friend looked at him and said “True, but I have been in this hole before, and I know the way out”.

 
There is someone in your life who has been in that same abyss, and they can help you find the way out. Don’t loose hope, hope is great thing, and great things never die.

 

Good Deeds

Can more acts of kindness change the world? and perform miracles? I’m convinced that they can do that, and I’m quoting the words of St. Therese de Lisieux:

“Love proves itself by deeds, so how am I to show my love? Great deeds are forbidden to me. The only way I can prove my love is by scattering flowers and these flowers are every little sacrifice, every glance and word, and the doing of the least actions for love.”

The best thing about “an act of kindness” is the great way it makes you feel….and invariably, it comes back.

Every good thing we do, is like blowing to the world a bubble of love. This bubble is travelling to the air, until another person does a good thing (or thought), and another bubble is relieced… and another… and another. Maybe some people can’t understand that this bubbles are full of love and won’t open their hands for them to fall in… but it doesn’t matter. I’m sure that in a sudden unexpectable way, maybe for a second, they will look the sky. And when they see this sky full of bubbles, at least, they are going to smile.. realicing their own little bubble.. without even knowing.
